(December 4, 2014, 11:56 pm)It's been years since I first contacted Kushner Roshi to inquire about training in kyudo, the way of Japanese archery. It was required that I train in zazen for a month before participating in kyudo.
While I never did pick up a bow, I did continue Zen training at the dojo for quite some time before the commute from the Milwaukee area became unmanageable. It was truly life changing, and I very much hope to return some day.
