Safe place for children. They can have their own space or group activities. Intimidating to someone who has never been to someplace like this. But after I'd been there for awhile I found it comfortable and colorfully welcoming.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here. I was in my teens when I was there, I am now 23. This was the first psychiatric hospital I had been to. I was definitely scared but the staff made me feel welcomed. The groups were great & were actually helpful. The doctors were AMAZING & they definitely saved my life a few times. The first time I went there wasn’t my last time & I never experienced anything bad or anything like that. The rooms were “normal” hospital like rooms, not prison like or anything. Food was decent.

I went there and honestly I enjoyed it. We get our own rooms and own bathroom, we get to go in the showers alone and no supervision parents and friends get to go every day for 2 or 3 and a half hours and on the weekends 4 or 5, we get to watch movies and watch tv when we get free time any time of the week the food is good and the bad reviews aren’t true the people want to help and they want you to share what you’re going through we also get a group therapy which is great I don’t know what you wouldn’t like about it
