I visited all the UU communities in Madison, and this was the one that felt the most welcoming and least overwhelming. “I've been going to New Culture since moving to Madison in June of 2020, and it has been an incredible experience. Sunday services are awesome: worship is great, Pastors Abbie and Nermalis preach the word of God, and it's a very welcoming environment. New Culture also has Community Groups (small groups that meet every Tuesday evening) that have been so helpful for not just getting plugged in, but for my personal walk as well. Highly recommend checking New Culture out, regardless of where you're at with your faith--it's a place where you can belong before you believe!”

“My favorite spot:) Not many people know about this spot. It’s definitely a hidden gem. I have seen tons of wildlife here, especially birds! If you’re a birder, this is the best spot for shorebirds and sandhill cranes. Go in the morning or evening to see the beautiful sunset or sunrise. The colors over the water are incredible.”

“They've updated this building nicely. There's even an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. I have to say that the views are nice along this waterway area, including from the beach, but the water in Lake Mendota is always gross and mucky along the shores. For those reasons, I only go here to sit and look out; I don't go in the water anymore but many other people still do so I guess you'll have to make that decision for yourself.”

They are welcoming and know you or want you to feel comfortable which is greatly appreciated in these days and in chilly weather it's a plus. They are in renovation in some areas but they still have lounges while you wait. I like to say it's a good car buying experience as I bought my SUV from them. “My chiropractor recommended Tom when I was having knee pain that chiropractic wasn’t healing quickly enough. He was amazing and after a few visits I was much better. In the past few years I’ve used him mostly for massages which are wonderful. I did go to him for acupuncture in January when my asthma was acting up and I felt it helped a lot. Tom is knowledgeable, professional, and has magic hands. I always feel much better after I see him. I can’t recommend him enough!”
