Pricier than other campgrounds in the area but great fun for the family. They have a very cute shop with everything you need, are minutes from town, and have nice full-hookup spots. Amenities include a bouncy pillow, swimming pond with giant floating slides, bikes/tricycles for rent, playground, giant chess, and more. Plus, the train for the amusement park comes through in the summer to pick people up to go - there's also a great walking path straight to the amusement park gates!

Nice experience with family!! Bikes to use, pond, floaties, and a jumping pillow helps tire the kiddos out. Clean facilities and nice staff.

Train ride to the amusement park is fantastic.

Just returned from a weekend with friends. Everybody had a great time. The pond was full of leeches which was a little unsettling but they were small which made them easy to remove. Nobody in our group had one attach but people next to us did. There were a few times where you would look down and see them in a group swimming around you. I wish the campground would do something to treat them.

The kids really enjoyed the bikes and used them frequently. That said, several of them had broken parts or chains that continued to fall off.. They still got great use of them. The personal bikes we brought from home were used frequently as well - the campground felt very safe with little traffic moving around which allowed the kids to have a great area to bike.

The staff was friendly and the kids enjoyed the decorating donuts they had each morning. The event calendar said it was chocolate weekend so there would be pudding eating and drawing in pudding but that didn't happen.

We purchased the day passes to go to Little Americka and took the train over there. Though the park opens at 12, the train picked us up at 12 and then took 25 minutes to get there because they stopped for gas on the way. Given they are only open 5 hours and didn't open until 12, we wished the train would have left at 11:30 or 11:45 and/ or take care of the gas needs prior to pick up.

The bathhouse was great and very clean. Showers are free to use and the bathroom is large. We sent all the kids in together with swimsuits on to rinse off after the pond and make sure there weren't leeches on them. It was clean and cool which was a nice reprieve from the warm weather we had.

We live close by so we would probably stay again. I would check on the leech situation though as that took the relaxing part of swimming out of it.

Easy to use website with calendar that shows what dates are actually available so convenient to use. Unfortunately our reservation was canceled for some reason and nothing was ever sent to me. Luckily they had an open cabin when we showed up. Clean and organized set up. Beach, chairs, picnic tables with large shade umbrellas in place. Inflatables worked well and water was clean. Kids had a blast.

Wristbands are required for many of the non pond things (inflatable pillow, dunk tank, space ball, bikes, etc). Little confusing and seems unnecessary given everything is open and seems ready to use.

Cabin was clean and orderly. AC worked well with extra fan that was provided. Stove and microwave no issues. They provide nothing except toilet paper, a fan, a broom, and chairs. Wish that was a bit clearer ahead of time. You need to bring everything you need including, but not limited to, hand soap, towels, dish soap, cleaning solution, pots, pans, bowls, cutlery, pillows, linens, etc. Our cabin was missing a coffee pot and wasn't replaced during our stay.

Overall clean and cozy place to stay with everything close at hand. Great fellow campers made for a fun few days. Recommend for families with small children for sure. Life jackets provided. BUT pack ahead if using cabins.
