Pineview Veterinary Clinic

I’m not usually one to write reviews but I was so impressed with Pineview Veterinary clinic and Boarding that I had to write a review. I have a pet cockatiel, Keiko, and we had some unexpected maintenance done on our apartment which fumigated the house, causing my bird to become very ill. I had talked to veterinarians and they had said he should be ok but to get him to fresh air quickly and monitor him. I was emergently looking for somewhere to take my bird to escape the toxic fumes while my house aired out, and I couldn’t find anyone in the Madison area that would board a bird. I called pineview as a last resort since they did boarding of some sort and explained to them the emergency I was in. They were absolutely fantastic and welcomed my bird even though it was out of their typical clientele, with no former reservation of any sort. When we showed up they greeted us warmly at our car and were kind and allowed me to get my bird situated and comfortable in his vacation spot.

The next morning the house had aired out and it was ok to bring him home, so I called pineview and asked if I could pick him up early and they happily accepted. When I got there they told me how happy he had been chirping and singing away in the morning, and had even taken him out of his cage to play with him in the morning (which I’m sure he was excited to do). When I walked in to go get him he was sitting happily in the sunshine and appeared quite comfortable, but also excited to see me. We packed up and the manager helped me bring Keiko and his cage out to the car, and expressed how fun it was to have him there. And on top of that, all this service was very very well priced. I’m thoroughly impressed with all they did to accommodate us in such a pressing situation, and I would happily return if I needed somewhere for Keiko to stay while I was on vacation. Thank you so much Pineview staff! I really appreciate all you did for us!

Very professional. In my opinion, this Veterinary Clinic runs and operates better than most hospitals I have been to. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

We have been extremely pleased with Pineview Veterinary Hospital. When we moved to the north side of Madison there was another vet that was recommended to us (by a few folks we trust) and after three visits to this clinic, it just wasn’t right for us.

We have a senior dog that has a few unique medical issues. We are at the point where comfort and quality of life are the important things to focus on. We switched to Pineview when we had some questions about lumps and the need to treat if they were cancerous. They didn’t require us to do expensive tests to first find out if it was cancer in order to talk through what options were if we decided not to treat the cancer. More recently our dog had another aging dog issue surface and instead or requiring costly tests, they shared what they thought it was and options moving forward.

We very much appreciate the ability to consult and have transparent conversations without having to pay for costly tests and office visits every time something comes up.

We have been going to Pine View for years and have always felt Dr. Laura genuinely cares about our German Shepards. Even if we come with our own Google diagnoses, she asks questions and nicely explains her diagnoses, rational and plan. Ultimately, we have always been happy with the care, professionalism and results from Pine View.
Today I decided to look at reviews from other dog owners and was sad to read about the experience from the gentlemen with the beagle. I'm curious about this review because we have never had such a problem. However, if I had this problem I would be upset with about the new hyper restrictive laws on addictive drugs, not the Vet Clinic. Pretty sure the Vet Clinic and Pharmacy were just trying to follow the law.

I just wanted to share how much I love Pineview Vet Clinic and your doggy daycare! This place is amazing- from the staff at the front desks to the people meeting me in the parking lot to grab Miles for "school", to the people answering the phone, to the vet techs and vets themselves! I am so thankful for all of them and the hard work that they do! I love being able to bring my cats in for amazing care, but not only that, the fact that I can take my puppy to doggy day care and have him get the needed vet care at the same time! ..and not to mention, their pricing is super fair and on point!! Thank you guys so much for everything, it is much appreciated!
