“I arrived in spring of 2022. First off, The Villa gets top marks for cleanliness. Secondly, the nurses are all highly competent, which may be a minimum requirement but they are kind and patient as well. You would hope compassion would be a minimum requirement but if you spend any time in this type of facility you know how rare it can be. As one will, you have more contact with CNAs, personally I think it is unfair to expect 100% of them to be Mother Theresa. 4/5 of them are though. They have always been happy to take a minute for some pleasant conversation when they bring a food tray or take vitals and have never acted like they are running behind because of me. It can be the little things that make a day go better. I know that if when they are in taking blood pressure and noticed my water bottle is low when they are done with their rounds they will come back and fill it with ice water without my needing to hit the call button. Sometimes a little consideration really goes along way toward comfort. Third and these are not in order of importance, the therapy department has been excellent. That bears repeating because I arrived unable to walk but quickly developed enough faith in their expertise to work their program to learn to walk again. The therapy department is excellent. I am one that is ready every day and will take all the therapy I can get but I know some of the residents have days when they don’t feel like getting out of bed and these good people will push to get their charges to put the required effort in. Last, the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Room views vary, But most look out on grass and trees. There is a fine wheelchair path(some call it a sidewalk) around the facility. For being right in Middleton proper it is a quiet and peaceful place with large grassy areas and giant trees.”

“The Legacy of DeForest is an amazing place. My father moved in Dec of 2019 after a hip replacement due to a fall. They were brand new. He was one of 5 people. He wasn’t ready to move out of his home. The staff made him feel welcome from the day he moved in, until the day he passed in August. They keep them active, and busy. He loved it there. They are a loving, caring place who treat their residents like their own Grandparents. I would highly recommend them!!”

“My 5 y/o son was excited to visit his father's barber and get a mohawk. We got there early, and 'Dre was just finishing up with a client by trimming his sideburns with a straight razor. The blade scared my son, and in 5 minutes time my son worked himself up into tears with fear. Several nearby stylists came out to reassure him to no avail, but once 'Dre finished up, he came out and spoke directly to my son. He asked his name and introduced himself then brought my son inside to pick out a snack. 'Dre went out of his way to put my son at ease without baby talking him. He showed off his tools, put on a cool stop motion Lego video, and got to work. Within minutes my son was laughing and having a great time. I'm really thankful for the customer service. This guy knows what he's doing. I've been coming to him for a while for my own fades, and if I'm judging by the number of times my son checked himself out in every reflective surface, he will be bugging me for another haircut soon enough. “I have taken lessons from Sue S. since Oct of 2021. Sue has made systematic small changes in my swing that has yielded big results. She gives me ways to practice and learn what she is teaching me. Sue was super excited when I wanted to have a lesson on chipping, putting and sand shots because this is where I can save strokes. I use all of her methods because they work. I love the app and the video comments because I review them when I go to the practice range so that I practice what she taught me. When I do what Sue teaches me, I hit the ball straighter and longer. Since I started taking lessons from Sue S., I have dropped almost 20 strokes and increased my length by 10 - 30 yards. They guys in my league are impressed with my improvement!! Thank you Sue.”
