(September 23, 2018, 3:48 pm)Not surprisingly, this is a rather wet place. While there are some higher lands near the north parking lot off of Hwy 18, I suggest visiting via the east parking lot off Bear Hole Road. Park and walk west towards the access road - look for the gate. This takes you over a drumlin to a meadow between two drumlins. Continue west up the the next drumlin for an overview of the Tamarack swamp. Next time I will bring waders...
