As an employee of Dr. Cernak's I watch on a daily basis how she treats and cares for her patients. Her patients are her number 1 priority and she always goes above and beyond to help her patients. Another reason I enjoy working for Dr. Cernak is that she is always willing to teach; I learn everyday while working with her and it is very enjoyable. I enjoy coming to work everyday.
I am also a patient of Dr. Cernak's. She is very thorough with her exams and is very detailed in her exams. She explains things so that you can understand what she is talking about and she will try all options before referring out for surgery. It makes it better to go to the doctor when you know that doctor cares about you and your needs.
My 6 year old was also seen by Dr. Cernak. She is amazing with children. My son absolutely loved her; she fixed is toe and gave me Culver's gift cards so he could go get ice cream.
I was seen by Dr,. Cernak about pain in my foot. She diagnosed my problem and scheduled me for some tests. The results came back and she conformed her diagnoses. She gave me options on how to move forward. I chose to have a surgery that she suggested. Within 48 hours of surgery my foot felt better than it had in a year. It was refreshing to have a Dr. who knows what she is talking about. Great job and thank you.
Dr. Cernak is a great doctor. She was thorough when explaining everything. She took time to answer all questions and never made me feel like she was in a hurry to get to the next patient. I was given all options for treatment, along with success percentages and pricing -- if my insurance wouldn't cover it. I recommend her to everyone and anyone seeking a podiatrist.
