  Historical ties to Bobby Nelson the wrestler. Ever heard of a half Nelson or a full Nelson? Glance up on the way out to see Bobby's pictures above the door.
  Wonderful cheese selection. Fabulous Wisconsin brats, landejagers, salami, smoked fish, liver sausage, jellies, jams,
  sauces, crackers, honey, candies, gifts and some beautiful antiques. Skip the tourist trap large store and treat yourself to a special place. Owners are friendly and warm hosts. YOU HAVE TO GO!

  You head to Bobby Nelson's because you are pulling out of Mars Cheese Castle; you are a tourist and this is your first trip to WI.
  
  WHAT THE HELL DID I MISS?!?
  
  Then you go in.
  
  And you wonder "why is mars so popular?"
  
  This place is far better to get your fill on LOCAL smoked meats and these guys deal with the smaller cheese makers of the state. This is where you go when you KNOW what is around and stock up, then go to mars (notice I am not capitalizing the name) for your fill on New Glarus beers and have a solid burger in the restaurant.
  
  But you SHOULD be shopping here. The BACON is ridiculously GOOD

  Bobby Nelson's is fantastic. Has a great offering of cheese and meat, all of which are very tasty! The brats are fantastic as well! Everything in the shop (aside from the newly added credit card machine) has remained unchanged since it first opened. A very sweet spot that shouldn't be overlooked by the draw of Mars Cheese Castle.

  Sure, go to Mars but do yourself a favor and stop here too. This place is cool. The cheese is delicious and the story that goes along with the place is cool too. I have passed by this place several times and finally stopped to give them a try. Don’t let the common outer appearance stop you - they know what they are doing!!!
