Southside Auto Mart

I should've done this a long time ago. I purchased a truck from Southside Auto last December. I felt it was, and still is, a good deal. A month or so later, I took it in to start routine servicing schedule. I was informed by that shop that in their opinion, the truck wasn't safe. So, I took it to a different shop, but didn't tell them about the diagnosis of the 1st shop; but they came to the same conclusion. So with that, doubt and distrust set in. So I contacted Southside with my concerns, and Dominic reassured me, and the DMV, that the truck was indeed safe. The problems that both shops said I'd experience has yet to happen; and it's been almost a year now. I feel like a fool. My gut about Southside was right; it was a good deal on a good truck. There's always a gamble buying used vehicles. Buying them from Southside Auto should give you piece of mind. It's a good place, that's affordable, and willing to work with you; with qualified mechanics. This is a squared away place.

The guys at south side auto are always really nice and professional. Never had any complaints. Great service and pricing.

This review is long overdue I'm afraid. I have been dealing with Mark and Dom for at least 15 years now. I've purchased five cars from them and sent several friends to them. I wouldn't have done any of that if they weren't a top notch organization! They truly run a Class-A+ operation in every respect. They are friendly, fair and honest, know their business well, and deal straight in all they do with their customers. You will get a straight deal from them for sure, with no B.S. and that includes their service department. Used car dealerships come and go; few survive any length of time. Southside Auto has been here for DECADES and no doubt will continue to be. They are family owned and run and truly are a valuable institution in our area. Take it from me: If you want a decent used car, or need a repair, all at fair prices from guys that truly try to do the decent thing in business, then look no further than Southside Auto. You will NOT be sorry.

I have never visited Southside Auto previously but my son found a truck he was interested in and asked that I take a look at it with him. Being a used car lot I was a bit on guard, but after meeting Larry and Mark I felt much more comfortable. The vehicles on their lot all look to be in good shape and are priced well. Larry and Mark were happy to and quick to put the vehicle up on the rack for us to take a look at it. They have three bays as they are also a full service center and will work on your vehicle if you've purchased it from them or not.
Mark walked around beneath the vehicle with us answering questions and pointing things out. He also shared paperwork with us clearly stating what had been replaced on the truck by them and shared other notes they had on the vehicle. I was very impressed with their openness and honesty throughout the sale and they applied absolutely no pressure. They were very willing to listen to our concerns and ready to make things right. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know looking for a car, truck or SUV priced under 10K and will also look to them in the future should I or other friends or family need service work.
