Sweet Basil

Got the recommendation from a friend to try sweet basil out, and we've been going back ever since. To say we're obsessed is an under statement. The takeout during the pandemic is excuted extremely well. The food is amazing. Absolutely love it.

We got curbside takeout from this restaurant. We used to frequent them back when they were in Janesville as the Asian Bistro. A year later we came back to this new place and the food was just as amazing. Their panang curry and basil fried rice is one the best we've ever had. I love that this restaurant is vegetarian friendly! If you haven't tried this place yet, I strongly recommend that you do!!

Fantastic food, great service, and a delight to the senses! This has been my and my wife's go to take out restaurant. Her favorite is the pad thai and mine is the basil combo fried rice spice level 5.

Sweet Basil has never failed me. Every item I've tried has been absolutely amazing, and I'd highly recommend the Tofu Pad Thai. They have lots of vegan items, and it seems like a lot of what they offer is really unique. I've also never experienced any issues with the wait time, despite the fact they seem very popular (and rightfully so!). The portions are huge, so I'd recommend dividing it up before you eat it all in one sitting, which I am more than guilty of doing on several occasions.

My fiance and I tried Sweet Basil on a whim last night and it was awesome!! The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We got the Tom Kha, Lao Sausage, Pork Eggrolls and Jeow Bong Fried Rice. In addition, the ordering/pickup process was super simple and everything was packed in sustainable containers. Nothing soggy or cold when we got home. We'll definitely be back to try more soon!
