  Very nice park. Excellent walking/biking paths along the lake. Some nice picnic areas, and during the summer the farmer's market on Saturdays is great. The South Shore Terrace Beer Garden is great, decent food, plenty of drink options and a nice event space.

  This park provides great views of Lake Michigan. The city is viewable in the distance. There is a block of boats close by as well. I got great pictures here. My only gripe is that I didn't bring my zoom lens to snap a few pictures of seagulls in flight. I did capture great panoramic shots and sweeping views. There is a market, bars and restaurants withing walking distance as well.

  Went to South Shore for the farmers market. It was amazing! Friendly atmosphere, so many vendors! I was more excited than a kid in a candy shop! Neys, Lopez Bakery, Press Waffles, so many fresh vegetables!! They have such a variety of vendors full of locally grown and made foods, I think anyone who attends will be happy!

  Probably one of the best parks in all of Milwaukee. Highlights:
  1.) Amazing lake view and city skyline view
  2.) Able to BBQ and have picnics
  3.) Great playground for children
  4.) Farmer's Market on certain Saturdays of the year
  5.) New beer garden right on the late.
  If you're visiting the city for the first time, this is a must-go
