(May 6, 2019, 8:01 am)We recently had to put our 19 year old tabby cat down after years of megacolon issues and developing jaundice and decided to bring her to Lakeshore after coming here with friends for other animals. The staff is absolutely wonderful they were very caring and compassionate. They took their time to check our cat out and go over every option we had and what the best course of action would be. As painful as it is putting an animal down, Lakeshore made the experience a little easier to handle and also took the time to mail out a hand written card signed by everyone giving their condolences and included 2 cards with paw prints from our beloved kitty. For anyone that needs vet services or has to do the unfortunate thing of putting an animal down I highly recommend Lakeshore they are great.

(March 26, 2019, 7:27 pm)We were referred to Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists after receiving abnormal lab work prior to spaying our puppy. Dr. Fleming who is an Internal Medicine specialist, spent a great deal of time explaining the results of the thorough exam she did on Piper. She was fabulous at explaining everything and setting plan for how we will proceed. All the vet techs were wonderful at keeping me updated and making sure Piper was not afraid. I feel we are in excellent hands and I am so thankful this is available in the area and I am not on a waiting list in Madison. I highly recommend this clinic if you need specialized care for your pet.
