“I have been coming to my friend Nit's store since she opened. I have more than a few pieces I have purchased in her store, she is friendly & outgoing. Although she sells oriental figurines, her main business is selling traditional clothing to the Laotian & Hmong communities.and is a master seamstress, who alters clothes do a more than reasonable price. Seam in $15.00, Seam out $15.00 lengthen, shorten, hems & sleeves around the same price. As long as you aren't looking for a complete rebuild of an article of clothing, she pretty much charges $15.00. Of course this is whenever she is not creating something fantastic for one of her countrymen, I pretty much know she will accommodate.”

“I was in the mood for fried chicken. My wife was was working, so it was just me. I Googled “Best Fried Chicken in Milwaukee.” Jo Jo’s just kept coming up, so I decided, despite living on the other side of town, I’ll go there! So I drove from Whitefish Bay to Jo Jo’s. It was well worth the drive. I went in, ordered, had some laughs with the owner, employees and friendly neighborhood customers, while I waited for the fresh chicken to be cooked to order. That’s how they do it. Didn’t take long and I was happy to have it freshly cooked anyway. The chicken was amazing! Golden and crispy on the outside and juicy and cooked to perfection on the inside. Not greasy. Just flavorable and good! If I would change anything, it might have been just a tad on the salty side, but certainly nothing that would stop me from going back to take out more. I will be back, for sure!”
