“My first experience at Newcastle Place was volunteering at their Highlands Health Center in their Skilled Nursing. Every time I left, I felt like a new person. There was such hope, optimism and engagement. I saw a different side to what many call "nursing homes". The level of care was much like you would expect from a loved one. It felt like one big family. I was so impressed that I applied to be a residency counselor in their independent living. Spending two years working with seniors so full of life, so excited about their full day of events, so impressed by their chef prepared meals, unique upcoming outings and extensive amenities and so comforted due to their individualized care plans was such a special experience. It was unlike any independent living I had toured, volunteered at, etc. Recently, I've transitioned into a role in their Health Center focusing most of my efforts in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Rehab. Once again, I am beyond impressed by the care our staff provides and the thoughtfulness they extend to each resident. I could not work for a company I did not believe in and Newcastle Place is a company, and a home, and a family I couldn't believe in more. Blessed to be here!”

The helper we have now is amazing! Her name is Daisha and she is incredibly knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate, bright, thoughtful, conscientious, friendly and makes me laugh every single day. Having a terminal illness, laughter is very welcomed in our house. As my disease progresses, I need more assistance and Daisha has adapted extremely well to these changes.
