Went in a few times for emissions, were professional and fast. Tried them out when I had issues with my tires and steering column; they were very knowledgeable, their prices were fair, and they explained the issues in a way that I could understand. Will return again. Thank you!

My 16yr old son has been driving my van since getting his license.On Saturday night my son said the engine started surging and died, upon quick inspection I found a loose battery cable/starter not reacting/and worst of all the engine oil was barely on the stick.Now thinking the engine was seized I had it towed to Racine Auto Specialists on Sunday and threw the key in the drop box with a note to call me.
I received a call immediately Monday morning from Kevin.I told him the story and he said they’d check it out.
A few hours later he called with the diagnosis of bad starter and gave me a price on replacement.I approved the repair and once it was in I received a call stating it was running. They also did an oil change ,fixed the loose battery cable, and drove the van around checking computer to be sure of zero surprises.
Service was all around EXCELLENT!

Racine Auto Specialists had helped me from the beginning when I had a check gage light on my 96 Suburban. With this light unfortunately not being an easy fix, the engine was then replaced. In the process, there were understanding complications due to the complexity of the job as in finding the best parts for an older vehicle. However, the job was completed and the vehicle brought back from the dead.
