  The Racine Zoo is one of those not-so-hidden gems on the lake. I'm always amazed how many of my friends who live in Racine say that it's been years since they've even been to the lake. Often when we go down to the beach I always try to take a stroll through the zoo and we love it.

  Beautiful little zoom on the shores of Lake Michigan. Perfect for small children with play areas and small enough grounds that kids can manage. One of the prettiest zoos in the country.

  Probably the best little zoo in the whole Midwest. The zoo is big enough for kids to enjoy and small enough that they won't get over stimulated and tired. The price is very reasonable with rates of $4,for adults and $3 for children. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The animals are on display at all times and very close to the spectators. There is a walk about exhibit that allows people to have the animals come right up to them. Very fun and the view of lake Michigan alone is worth the price of admission.

  ????????????I love this small zoo. A season pass for a family of 4 is about 60 bucks. I enjoy taking my granddaughters to the aviary to play with and feed the birds, and the petting zoo with the sheep and goats. The monkeys and the orangutans are enjoyable to watch and interact with through the glass, or if they are outside, the bars. They have an extremely nice playground area, and the zoo has concerts and other events throughout the year for members, including wine tasting and social events. It truly is an unknown treasure. It's right on the lakefront, really nice cool breeze on a hot summers day.????????????????????????✔️
