“I recently finished up my training with Jon and had the absolute best time learning to fly paramotors. Jon is hands down one of the best instructors out there. He actually was one of my fixed wing instructors prior to this, so I knew I was in good hands from the very beginning. Jon has dedicated his life to aviation and sharing it with others. There are few people that I have met that are as passionate and knowledgeable as he is. The ground training I received was above and beyond what I ever could have imagined. There is a lot to learn when getting into this sport, but Jon’s deep understanding of aviation allows him to instruct in a way that is manageable and not overwhelming. Jon doesn’t only teach the technical side of things though. He also is very focused on safety, etiquette, and protecting the sport. Jon’s instructional skills don’t stop in the classroom. Where he really shines is in the field. He is beyond patient and knows how to adjust to each student’s needs. With my motor weighing over 50% of my body weight, he has ensured that I have been laser focused on perfecting my technique and it has definitely paid off. I am so grateful for the skills and confidence I gained during my time with ParAmerica and they will most definitely be my go to for refresher training in the future. “Fun experience for families. Large variety of animals and some different ones you don't see in zoos anymore. You are able to get close to the animals (safely) and they have petting zoo and option to purchase feed for the animals. For $35 extra you can rent a golf cart to go around the cart which is a great option if your party can't make it the entire 4 mile loop. There is a playground and picnic area for eating as well.”

“Every small town should have a museum like this showcasing its history. Unfortunately I forget his name but the guy who was giving me the tour was quite knowledgeable. I came into town for a few hours to kill some time while waiting for a family member to have a surgery procedure done at a hospital nearby. Came into town not knowing much about it but because of this museum I left being somewhat of an expert. Being an avid railfan I can say with all certainty that any rail fan will enjoy this spot. I would have to make one recommendation and that would be too remove those pine trees that are behind the place and in their place put a train watching area with like a park grill or something. If you were to do this, you would bring in rail fans (and their money) from all over the place. There is a really nice view of Slinger Junction of course but there's something really picturesque about trains coming southbound going around that corner.”
