  There is usually a wait here, but it is well worth it. While waiting you can order drinks, sit at the bar, or sit at tables just outside the dinning area. The Friday fishfry is delicious and very well prepared. What made this unique was the fried chicken that came with it! For a group of ten we waited no more than 5 minutes for our food. It was served family style and the waitresses were sure to keep the unlimited supply refreshed at all times. Tucked away in the woods, along side a river offers some beautiful scenery as well. I highly recommend this gem!

  Efficient and friendly service. Wonderfully delicious baked cod with a slight tang to the tartar sauce. I loved it! Generous pour on the wine. It is always packed on Friday nights so expect at least a 45 minute wait.

  This was our third trip to Blue Heron. We had a Saturday special. Two New York strip steak dinners for $39.99. The meal includes garlic mashed potatoes, soup or salad and a dessert. The steaks were okay, but the sauteed scallops were wonderful. You can choose scallops, crab legs or shrimp.
  
  I had celery soup, which one would think would be dreadful, given it's well celery. Wrong! It was delicious. Hubby had a good looking salad. Warm bread was good also. Our waitress Ginger was outstanding.
  
  Ended with chocolate lava cake to share. Yum! We will be back soon.

  What a fish fry is meant to be. Family style helpings and a room full of locals. Good fish and chicken, but they really need an improved potato option on the side. The fries were meh, bring in some potato pancakes to make this a 5 star

  Stopped for their duck dinner special tonight, a periodic special menu offering. Absolutely delicious! I had the cherry orange sauce, my dinner companions had the duck gravy. Wild rice mix on the side. Broccoli soup, salad, hot bread. Just wonderful!
