  I have been taking guitar lessons with Chris since I was in middle school, and I am graduating this coming year. Chris has had an integral part in shaping the guitar player I am today. Knowing absolutely nothing about guitar before coming to the studio, over our many years of lessons I have had the opportunity to explore a variety of genres, styles, and techniques. Chris is always ensures that his students leave his lessons having learnt something new. I am always grateful to have him as a teacher, leader, and mentor.

  Patient, knowledgeable and skilled. I started my lessons with Chris last year and I'm not regretting it. While I will learn anything, I have a tilt toward blues and rock and Chris recognized this and focuses on it. I'm not content to just learn to play songs, so Chris also gives lessons in music theory. An absolute boon for me. I want a copy of the poster he has on his wall.

  I’ve been taking lessons from Chris for about 7 months now and I have to say it has not only drastically improved my guitar playing but also turned playing guitar from a hobby into a lifestyle and career choice. I always look forward to seeing Chris because I can honestly say going to lessons is the best part of my week. I think of Chris as more of a mentor than a teacher, and he has helped me tremendously in realizing and reaching my potential as a musician. Would 1000% recommend to anyone trying to learn guitar or to improve their playing in any genre or level.

  I highly recommend going to Chris! As a beginner playing electric guitar, Chris has always been patient with everything he has taught me, which makes me continue to want to learn. His knowledge is remarkable, and he is always able to help me work through any problems I am having with a lesson. Chris is very personable, and works with music that you want to play.

  I highly recommend Chris! He’s a knowledgeable and talented guitarist, but it’s his character that sets him apart from other instructors. He’s such a friendly and “cool” guy, that he makes the lessons very comfortable and enjoyable.
  In addition to teaching guitar basics, Chris finds out the types of music you like and want to learn, and tailor-makes the lessons to get you playing your favorite songs – at your own pace.
