  Very nice trail. Populated but not crowded. There's a lot of trail to spread out on. Handicap accessible. Butterfly garden was pretty neat.

  Loved the different Trails they had that you could go on. And the rating on them tells you how difficult each one of them is. The scenery was beautiful.

Lapham Peak Shelters - Wisconsin DNR

There are three picnic areas in the forest at Evergreen Grove, Homestead Hollow and the observation tower. Two areas have shelters that can be reserved. Trecker Lodge is in the Homestead Hollow area. There is a heated bathroom building at the parking lot.

Trecker - Lapham Peak Friends

Homestead Hollow. Trecker Lodge is located in the Homestead Hollow Area. There is a heated bathroom building at the parking lot. A lighted pathway leads people down to the Lodge. The building has nine round plastic tables and 55 sturdy chairs, electricity, and a fireplace.

The Friends of Lapham Peak will host the park's annual Candlelight Ski/Hike at the Homestead Hollow Picnic Area. Ski, snowshoe or hike by candlelight on a 1-mile (1.5 km) trail! Parking inside of the property is limited to approximately 450 vehicles. Carpooling is encouraged. Parking for cars and pickup trucks only - no trailer, bus or RV parking.
