I HIGHLY recommend Monacelli Stone. I am 72 and unsure of everything when it comes to buying a stone for my fireplace hearth. Tony was absolutely overly patient and very helpful in assisting me in my quest for just the perfect stone at a reasonable price. When I asked for a Saturday delivery, this was NO PROBLEM even though this was not the norm. Prior coming to Monacelli, I had first stopped at Halquist Stone and was totally ignored by every salesman there. I was just told to "go out in back and look at the rows of remnants they had". Being disabled (and old), I could immediately tell this was just a way to brush me off. I'm assuming that contractors demanding a larger supply are treated much better????? So if you're looking for someone genuinely interested in helping you accomplish your goal, give Tony a call and definitely go see him ! You won't be disappointed !
