“I’m visiting from out of town and wanted to see local, non-chain sewing/quilt shops. Bigsby’s is well worth a visit. They appear to specialize in quilt fabrics. The staff are friendly and helpful. I’m interested in sewing heirloom baby clothes and was pleased to find several bolts of cotton lawn and a very good selection of trims. In addition, there is another quilt shop within a few blocks and another close by in Waukesha, which make this a really good road trip.”

“I went looking for a desk chair for my wife. Ricky greeted me at the door. I said that I was looking at desk chairs. He said "Great" let me tell you where to look". He then explained how and where they displayed in the store and let go me on my own as I wished. I found one that I liked (price and features), but it was sold. Upon telling Ricky, he said that they had just received some used ones with those features. I looked at them and would have bet that they were new. They were perfect and the price was a "steal". I came in with no intention to buy without my wife seeing it, but I said "SOLD". Ricky was great to work with. Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable about his products, accommodating, and fun to just "BS" with. It was a great shopping experience.”

“This is a fairly new and very large Home Depot that is conveniently located in Waukesha. I have always been able to find what I am looking for here and everyone always seems pretty helpful. When they first started pushing the self checkouts I was one of the hold outs, however, they have done a good job with the software and the layout so I am happy to use them now. The software is well maintained and I like the fact that it matches up my credit card with my email address and sends a receipt when I am done. This is a nice touch, especially if you are a professional customer and need to track expenses (although I am only a home DIYer). Overall this is a good location that I will continue to go to.”
