When we first contacted Megna Painting about our vision to renew the original cabinets that we were keeping and match the stain and finish on them to the new custom cabinets that were being built, Mike assured us that it was possible. We were impressed by his thoughtful suggestions and his willingness to travel to our location. After the new bases were installed, there was a very small time frame to stain and finish the face frames before the countertops arrived for installation. Mike went above and beyond to keep the project on schedule. He worked with the cabinet maker to get the new doors and drawers to his shop for staining and finishing and when it was time for their installation, they were ready and delivered with care. “I could not be happier with the professionalism and quality of the entire Third Gen Team and the deck they built for me. I had a deck that was rotting and the ledger board was pulling away from the house. I was concerned about the structural safety of the house. Alex, the sales rep, was entirely up front and honest. I initially gave him a budget for my deck. He then provided the choices for that budget. He did not try and "upsell" me to try and get me to buy more expensive materials. I finally had to talk him into letting me upgrade some options I wanted and assure him that I really wanted to buy a few more options than the initial number I provided! The build team was outstanding. It was clear that they took a lot of pride in the high quality work they wanted to provide for the customer and also to ensure that the Third Gen company final deck product lived up to the company's top quality reputation. Thanks to the Third Gen Team for the outstanding service and final deck product! You could not do better than this company for building a deck.”

“First, if you're heading SE on Irving Blvd and turn off at Roger Williams, EXPECT PEOPLE TO IGNORE THE STOP SIGNS. Nearly every time I've turned off of Irving to head any of those three directions, they don't seem to know that you don't have a stop sign and they do. Be careful there because right of way will be ignored. Yes, I double checked and there is no signage indicating a stop of any kind off of Irving Blvd - it's a three way stop with crossing traffic. So be careful there :) Also, we managed to miss the front parking from the service road (don't ask me-I have no idea how I missed it :P ). It looks like front parking. It isn't. The door there is blocked and you go around to the left to enter, but for the most part it is well marked. That said, I've been trying to find where the Accessible Parking (Handicapped) is as I don't recall seeing spaces. Looking at the satellite view, I don't see it there either. It is flat for entry and from all directions to the door, but not seeing clearly marked Accessible Parking near the door (I could have missed it completely - my apologies if I did) bothers me. I'll ding this a star for that - and I will happily change it when I'm directed to where the Accessible Parking is clearly marked.. A photo would be nice. That said, we had a decent and uneventful experience. I wish I could remember the fellow who helped us-I do remember him having some pretty good ink. Some of the other tattoos he wants to add are amazing. Maybe ask him when you see him. He was polite and efficient, helped us gather up the items we ordered ahead, helped us out to our vehicle and helped us load them. All in all, a good experience, I'd say. What should be normal in business :D”

“As I refer to them, Painter Steve, and his son Matt... first, recommended to me by someone I trust based on her professional and personal knowledge and experience with contractors. I had several contacts with Painter Steve as I came to a decision to paint my beautiful cabinets to go along with my decor preference. Painter Steve was patient with me to say the least. When I made the decision, he worked with me on a date. He was prompt in his arrival, both days, as well as very conscientious of taking a lunch break. He communicated with me on products used, gave me options on how to best accommodate the project since the cabinet doors had to come down, ensured to give me instructions for curing time, and cleaned up both days when finished. End result, I was/am so happy, I had tears. I can not say how happy I am with the results. Price point-unbeatable. This father-son team works well together. Both so pleasant, professional, and thorough. Considering, do I paint more? If so, I will be calling up Two Coats Painting for sure!”
