I live in Tn now and came back to Milwaukee for a night and drove to Portage for steak sandwiches on the way back South. Thats 5 extra hours and worth every bite. Great pizza but i needed a steak fix after being without for six years. Cash and check only though so bring it and remember to tip. Five stars as always. “This place is beyond A-M-A-Z-I-N -G. We've never been "regulars" at any other restaurant in our entire lives besides this one... Reason being: The owner/staff are super friendly and appreciative for the business, she remembers us every week... And our order. This week she even gave us a surprise dessert (I believe it's tempura/fried Oreos w whip cream, but idk we haven't tried :) ) the food is the best. We typically ONLY do the sushi, but have tried other dishes over the years and they're all great. But, their sushi is next level... My photos don't do them justice bc they got slightly squashed, but unlike most sushi places whose rolls are heavy on rice, not the seafood or toppings, ichiban does it the opposite. They are heavy on the good stuff w just the right amount of rice. We are so grateful for this restaurant being as close as it is to our house, however, we'd probably drive an hour if we had to! Can't recommend this restaurant more! Yum yum yum!!!!”

There wasn’t a bunch of food or soda on the counters, behind the counter where food is being prepared was really clean. I was honestly shocked at how clean this KFC was. Previous UPDATE: Bomb! “Love this place! Food is always very hot and delivered quickly. My son loves the crab rangoon and I can never get enough of the egg rolls and egg drop soup. The Singapore rice noodles are amazing as well if you like a kick! Delivery is always done quickly and the drivers are super nice. I do wish they would pay a little more attention to special requests when ordering online, however. We like chop sticks and don’t use the extra sauces except for the soy sauce. I used to write in the requests box that I didn’t want all those extra sauces, but that I would like chop sticks. They don’t seem to pay attention to that.”

“Ran across this place by accident while driving the convertible around the Kettle Moraine area admiring the fall colors. Stopped at lunch time and got a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich and some onion rings. Also a couple cocktails. Service was great and bartender was very friendly and welcoming. It is a typical small town old bar that is a little rough around the edges but the food is great and the company is equally enjoyable. Had some fun conversations with other customers and a generally enjoyable stop!”

“This place is a hidden gem. We're so thankful it is right around the corner in this little village - not only to have a place to eat, but also a great place to eat! Creative sandwiches and salads, it has quickly become a favorite. Fresh salads that go beyond the usual Ceasar or Cobb, and amazing sandwiches. My husband loves their Reuben, it is his favorite. I love their Veggie Burger -fresh veggie patty, so flavorful, a great sauce and available on a delicious pretzel bun. Always hits the spot. Their curry chicken salad is perfect - wish I had the recipe. Their brisket is a savory and delicious treat, wish I could eat it every day. Their Cole Slaw is an easy favorite, and their potato salad is good (and I'm not usually a fan of potato salad) . For the quality of ingredients, the uniqueness of their recipes, and the location these prices are totally reasonable. Service is always quick and we always enjoy a chat with the folks who man the cash register. This place is great and I recommend it to anyone passing through, or even if it is a drive - it's worth it!”
