Everyone loved their meal, two of us had deep fried cod, one had blackened walleye and one had the Mediterranean pasta, with chicken, and they were all generous servings. After dinner we sat at a table in the garden for drinks, which was very nice. Our server took good care of at both tables, even tho they were busy. We will go back again.”

Service is above average. The restaurant has a decent size waiting area. Your order number is on the receipt. I would be nice if customer is told that when paying -- a suggestion. Overall, the food and dining environment was a good experience.”

“My first time here- I love that there is a sand volleyball court. There was a game going on and it was great to be able to watch it while I waited for my food. The indoor dining has large doors that open into a patio which overlooks the sand volleyball court. I’ve been to bars before where the outside seating isn’t as integrated and so I really appreciated this about Bristle Boar Saloon. I ordered a (spicy) Bloody Mary which would have been nice if it had have more garnish, there was only an olive and a pickled pepper. Unfortunately, it also wasn’t spicy at all 😅 otherwise, as far as taste and alcohol content goes though, I am pleased in those categories. For food, I ordered the boar’s breath burger. It has possibly become one of my top 5 favorite burgers of all time. I didn’t have to add anything to it. My friends and I also shared some chicken tenders… which I was really impressed with. They were phenomenal!”

“I’m asthmatic with terrible allergies and knew the old carpets in my house were a contributing factor. I called the carpet guys and started looking into installing hardwood or laminate. Not something I was thrilled about doing because I hate walking on cold floors. I mentioned it during my in home estimate when I was politely asked to wait a moment while he ran back to his vehicle. He came back with TONS of carpet samples that were allergen friendly! I didn’t know nearly or completely allergen free carpets even existed?! Happy that I could keep my beloved carpets, I started picking away at all the samples. I had a slew of questions and difficulty deciding which carpet I wanted to go with. The salesman was very patient with me and explained everything in great detail. He smiled, answered all my questions and I even went with one of his recommendations. I say this only because I have a very small house and was not a high paying customer. Service you’d expect from someone that was spending a large sum of money with. It’s nice to know there are still good businesses out there. The kind that appreciate each and every customer, from every walk of life.”
