“Like any community you live in, there’s always ups and downs. I’ll say that the Wauona Trails Manor park has more ups then downs. Great place to live, most people mind their own business. Most people here watch out for their neighbors and are pretty decent. Kathy the manager is awesome to work with. She knows our problems and limitations and is a top notch manager to work with. Been here four years and probably about the happiest I’ve been living in a community of people.”

“I loved this mobile home community! It was so quiet and serene. Neighbors would come out and greet each other kindly..There were a few 'bad seeds' but the owner usually found reason to be rid of them. I would definitely come back and live here if I could sell my brick house, which I hope to do soon. I just hope Mike, the owner, can find a mobile home for me on his property when I am in the process of buying. This is far the BEST community in the county of Milwaukee.”

There is a little store where there is candy, soda, live bait, toys, some food and tools. The staff there is wonderful and so kind to all. It also has a fun park for the kids. Also they have rentable gulf carts to drive around in. Great place really recomend!”

The service department was very helpful as well. Chris helped us with acquiring the basics for our new RV. Ed provided a phenomenal walk-through of the new RV and installed our new accessories. “I stayed at Blackhawk RV Camping Resort as part of a Thousand Trails about a week ago. I could not be more impressed! From the day of my arrival, I was made to feel welcome from super friendly staff and seasonals (shout-out to Brad, Brian, Ben and Steve, also to a woman with short blonde hair and a pink golf cart, who was also very helpful- sorry I didn't get your name). Anyway, the campground is HUGE and very well-kept. There is plenty of space between campers- from anyone in tents to living in one of their cabins. I was in my own Class-A. I had full hook-ups (20-50amp available at the pole) with no issues with electric and good water pressure. They had beautiful landscaping with lots of grass and trees throughout. If I had the grandkids, they would have enjoyed themselves with the myriad of children's activities they offered as well as a basketball court, volleyball, horseshoes, swimming pool etc. They also had 3 adjacent lakes, but I could only figure-out how to get to 2 of them. Onsite, I also found a store with basic amenities (+ ice & fire wood) as well as a 24-hour laundry room. You can also rent a golf cart, which I recommend for at least a couple of days. I highly recommend this campground!”

“This was the best place! My children had the best time ever. We go there every year now, and the new staff is incredibly nice. The lake could use a little work but over all this is an awesome place. That bounce pillow was one of the best things there, and the nature trails are great to. And I love the fact this place is animal friendly, so feel free to take your pet. This place is awesome for children and adults, and I love all the activities 5 stars would recommend”
