Also regarding price, walking over from campground or driving 20-30 min each way to another town justifies a couple extra bucks. “5 stars. E & J is originally from Kenosha as I understand, providing incredible service, selection, and filling the extremely large void for QUALITY used car options in the heart of Racine. Make no mistake, these are used cars and as such, you may need to spend a bit after the purchase to shore up for the long term. As with most all vehicles they will last as long as you treat them well. Mine was no different, I purchased a 2018 Chevy Trax. Shortly thereafter, I had a couple worn hoses replaced, fluid replacements, tire changes, and within the next 10,000 miles some front end maintenance. All this for a 95000~ mile car at about 11k$ and I have to say I am completely satisfied. The owners were nothing but friendly and informative from the moment we shook hands. I am not well versed in car purchasing procedure but I will hands down say of all experiences I’ve had, this was the best without a doubt. Never once did I feel pressured, never once did I feel deceived. If you visit here with reasonable expectations they will be more than exceeded. Great Cars, Great People.”

“Amazing service. We were on the highway with a Scamp and the lug nuts backed out and wrecked the studs and ground into the hub. Changed to the spare and used only 2 lug nuts to limp forward. Got here at 4:23 when they close at 4:30, were willing to change the hub. It took them 7 minutes to change it, and got us new lug nuts to replace the wrecked ones, and were incredibly helpful and friendly. We truly cannot thank them enough.”

“The five star rating was well earned. I was in an accident a couple weeks before and had been looking for a car. I came across an 2016 MX-5 at Brown Dear, added to my list and continued my search. About a week later I had this and one other car on my list. They made the sale for several reasons price, honesty, and a true willingness to get the deal done on my timeline. I spoke with them on a Friday, they took care of the financing. I drove from Madison to get the car on Monday. I have been loving it ever since. Addition: Purchased second car from them. A 2003 E Class. Great price car is almost flawless. This experience was no different than the first. Great service, minor defect they found and fixed before pickup. I need to buy my daughter a car this spring and this is where I will be going to get it. Why mess around when I can get great service, price and car.”

Pulled up and the nicest, most fun ladies ever were in the big chair, invited us over to take a photo, and then someone came out to tell them that the store called the cops on them for sitting there too long. But they were nice. Not obnoxious and made us feel welcome. Calling the cops on them made us feel very UNwelcome! Went in, and sure enough, some young guy looking really bent out of shape, was on the phone with police. No. Idea. Why. On the flip side, Connor is a nice young gentleman. Very courteous, conversational and helpful. I have mixed feelings on going back. Connor was super nice, but getting the cops called on you for sitting in a public attraction for too long, that the business set out for people to sit in... just seems... Like maybe the guy that called is just an angry little man with control issues. Clean store though. Good selections. Maybe we'll go back and see what it's like again. [EDIT: Curiosity got the better of me, so I called to inquire. "The employees had some issue with the ladies." I wasn't there for the entire thing. But these ladies were sweet as Georgia peaches, and unaware that there was a problem until another customer came out to tell them that the cops had been called on them. They did politely clear out right away when I was there... Without conflict. In fact, it wasn't even the store that asked them to leave or informed them that the cops had been called. It was another customer. Based on the behavior of the guy in the store versus theirs, and the nasty attitude he had, versus how unaware they were of any problems with the store, I FEEL like he took something they did personal, and had to ruin their fun. Despite the explanation that the manager had, saying he was told that "some employees had an issue with the ladies", the whole thing still feels out of line, and in my own efforts to avoid conflict, I will probably choose not to go back.]”
