The ladies behind the counter are great about my requests for special cuts or sizes. If you come on Thursdays, they have the freshest brats, but if you come on a weekday, you can also talk to the butchers and get their tips on cutting the meat, as they are slower and have more time to talk to you. “It is Cracker Barrel. The food is good and the menu has many options. My wife has some food allergies and she was able to order the trout off of the menu, so it makes it more enjoyable for her. On one particular time we went it was around 4 on a Saturday. It was very busy and it seemed like our poor server was having to care for too many tables. Other than that one time we have never left with a "bad taste" in our mouth.”
