“5 stars all around. Gene helped us immediately and was very knowledgeable about what was causing my shin splints and what kind of shoe would help prevent this. Answered every single question I could think of, and made sure the shoe I ended up buying was the perfect shoe for me. Didn’t try to oversell anything, but did show me some accessory options (socks and insoles, I ended up getting socks but not the insoles). Another customer came in and he helped both of us at the same time efficiently and made sure we both had what we needed. I’ll definitely come back to this store and I’m sure it’ll be another amazing experience! 10/10 recommend.”

“When my grandma (Nonna) first moved to Oak Park Place’s Memory Care in February of 2021, she had a difficult adjustment period, as many do who are facing the confusion of dementia and leaving their lifelong homes. Oak Park leadership and staff at the time were a godsend. Since then, my Nonna loved it there. She would introduce us to her best friends - sometimes residents, sometimes staff - and the direct care staff were blessings to our family. They became an extension of our family, as did the hospice team. The leadership transitions were rough, and there were sometimes gaps in communication and cleanliness, but knowing the state of healthcare and CBRF’s today, it was all understandable and we worked thru it. They cared for my Nonna til the end, and when I went in to clean out her room one final time today, her memorial card was the centerpiece on their elevator board ❤️ It will be very strange no longer going there. I hope the next family and resident who live in room 218 has as positive experience as we did.”

“Dr. BLOMMEL was my husband's primary physician who coordinated his care among several specialists. He always listened to my husband's concerns and made changes in accordance whenever possible. I was impressed with the amount of time he spent with him, never feeling rushed and getting all questions answered. My husband really liked him and was willing to follow his suggestions. He is a great doctor to have for someone with a chronic condition which is never going to go away. At a time when it feels that many doctors are closely timing patients' visits, this is a great ability to have.”
