“Disc golf review for the short 9 hole portion of the course. The N9 course is great for beginners and a satisfying addition to the other main 18 holes. Sometimes 18 holes just isn't enough. There is a mixture of short and long holes and a few technical holes as you get into the woods. Signage at each of the concrete pads maps out the multiple pin placements (picture show short pins only). Each sign has a screw next to the pin placement on the map so there is no guessing where the basket is. The course wraps around in a giant oval. Getting lost here would take some serious effort. This is a pay to play course. If you don't have a yearly pass, you'll need to go to the chalet parking lot to get a daily pass. I recommend to get your monies worth out of the daily pass, play all 27 holes at that point. Because it is pay to play, the course is well maintained with little to no garbage on this 9 hole section. Baskets are moved frequently as well, giving different looks and options when playing here multiple times throughout the year. The course gets busy on nicer days but the majority of users practice good etiquette and usually let you pass if need be. Early mornings are a great time play.”

“What is the difference between a painter and a professional painter? I found out when I hired Don. I originally planned to just have the house painted. The house was built in the late '80s and may have been stained once after that (purchased in 2011). When Don reviewed the structure he point out cracked cedar that should be replaced and other boards that needed to be repaired. Caulking was decades old, not sealing the boards on the house in many cases, or just too brittle to paint over if you are doing the job correctly. So in 2021 it was time for a refresh. Much to my pocket book's chagrin Don counseled me to 'fix it right' and make the repairs that would last on this house longer than I will. "Chaulky" is a very likeable guy, and always chatty. And his depth of knowledge about buildings was very apparent, day after day. He helped me with a house drainage problem, and fixed some drywall and perfectly matched some skylight area paint (ask him about his MATC training and paint mixing). How may painters do you know that worked painting the sliding roof structure of the Brewer's stadium? Don can tell you all about that too. I have one criticism of Don. He's too good and very much a perfectionist. If you want somebody to just do the absolute minimum, then look elsewhere. Down to the choice of stain he will and won't use, he a professional, detailed, and smart. Just don't let him look around too long -- he'll find all of your house's warts. The good news is he knows how to fix most of them too.”

“I see a bunch of negative reviews and just don't get it. We had a blocked lateral line exiting the septic tank (as it turned out but symptoms were indicative of a few other potential issues as well) I have used them for years with no problems. I called them at 7:10 this morning and a few minutes past 8, the pumper truck showed up. He pumped the tank (stuff was a foot up into the riser, no wonder it wasn't "flushing" properly.) He said the repair guy would be here this afternoon, or tomorrow morning at the latest. About 2:30 they showed up, kid climbed down into the tank and spotted the problem and fixed it. Took about an hour. Don't know what it cost yet but you couldn't pay me enough to climb into my OWN septic tank! 5 stars, they are good enough for me!”
