The store is very large and impeccably clean, including the restrooms. Carts are available and the aisles are wide for your convenience. Even the parking lot is large with wide parking spaces. “They have a small tractor trailer parking lot with a large store where fresh whole steak beef, minced beef, fruits, vegetables, home made sandwiches, meals, bread, drinks are sold, the price is convenient too. As a trucker I enjoyed thei homemade, fresh, tasty western omelet sandwich which is rare to find on the road. Its a clean, peaceful environment with homelike ambiance. Overnight parking is possible.”

“Small, postage-stamp remnant of the former Crawfish Prairie. Access is via a dirt road sandwiched by cropland, and it may seem like you shouldnt be driving here, but fret not. Ample room to park at the SW corner of the prairie. No maintained trails exist here, but you are likely to find at least a hint of a footpath. Once you make your way in, a surprisingly diverse prairie awaits, with many uncommon to rare species tucked away in widely scattered locations. The best area is the eastern 2/3 of the southern 2/3, if that makes any sense. Best time to visit, probably mid-May through Sept.”
