“Lol, Brad!! I grew up next to the Gade's. And yes this is a Federally registered Private grass strip. I used to watch them land their Cessna 182 onto the strip. If you hadn't noticed the power-lines go from above ground to below ground on the East side of Savage Rd. right where the aircraft would be coming down in line with the runway. The Gade's don't really fly anymore though. There is a hangar back there where they used to keep the aircraft, but not sure if they still own a plane or not. They still keep the field mowed down. Could easily take an aircraft in and out still to this day.”
