“Love coming to Lucy’s bakery early morning for my green and red tamales before they sell out. The tamales are always so spongy and warm that my mouth gets soo watery before even taking a bite. I also enjoy their escamocha and flan so delicious. The owners are so friendly and always maintain their bakery clean, that it feels like home. “Nice little spot! Donuts are hands down the best! You better eat one in the car while they are warm! Red Pepper Gouda soup is FANTASTIC!! Get the big container and thank me later... However, oddly the place doesn't sell cider...that's right...no cider! The apple beverage is called "Squeeze" - it's a mixture of apple and pear juice, which is a bit strange. It's the only cider mill I've been to in the area that doesn't sell 100% apple cider. In the end, glad we came by, donuts were fire, soup was killer...but no cider...”

“Recently moved to the area and decided to try this place for breakfast sandwiches. Ordered a turkey bacon, and egg on a whole grain everything bagel. The bagel was fresh, could use one more egg to make it a better protein to bagel ratio. Everything was fairly priced. The menu was a bit hard to see since it was written with chalk. They also offered lunch sandwiches (tuna, Italian, etc) and a variety of loose bagels like blueberry, French toast, cinnamon raisin, etc. Overall, a good spot to check out if you’re looking for some good bagel sandwiches!”

I ordered the Ruben, when the woman working the counter came out she said “I don’t like the way these fries look, I’ll make you new ones”. Well she didn’t have too because the fries were amazing. I appreciate her passion and dedication to making sure the quality of the food is above par. Overall great experience in the quaint town of Hopewell. So glad I had some free time to stop in and zen out with some great food and staff. I will be back with the family!”

“First time shopping here. (Typically a Fry's/Kroger guy). It was refreshing to shop somewhere new, see a few different things. Didn't really like how dim the store was/felt. By the time we left it felt like we were there for forever going from dim to super bright out. I do prefer how clear the Fry's prices and sales are. I'd argue Fry's is overall a better value, on common items. They were short staffed which isn't abnormal these days. Most employees were fairly positive. A couple not so much. A successful satisfying trip nonetheless!”
