“An excellent little bookstore. They carry a wide selection of Anabaptist writings, both non-fiction and fiction. About half the store is of used books as well, some on Bible and theology, but much of it fiction from before 1970 or so. Many of the older books are young adult novels, plus timeless classics of American and English literature.”

“I can't rave about this place more. They always have something to walk away with. I would highly recommend it to anyone.”
Address: 4220 Balboa Ave, San Diego, CA 92117, USA
“Pretty decent store located by Balboa Ave and Clairemont Dr. The workers are always friendly and helpful. I give 4 stars only because like with all Goodwill stores in Southern California, some items are priced just a little too high for what the item is really worth.”

“I LOVE this bookstore! When you read half priced books you may be thinking roughly used with an outdated selection...NOT the case. This place has a wonderful selection from oldies to modern titles. Amazing quality, clean atmosphere and the people that work here are friendly too. They even have a little gifts section where you can find something for anyone. I'm just over the moon about this store and if you want books at a great price, look here :)”

“Super cute comic book store. Kind of hidden but fun since you sneak between 2 buildings to find it. It's smaller in size, but there is still really good selection.”

“We stopped in Pasadena just for this tour and we found it to be very worthwhile. The docent was knowledgeable and patient with our diverse group of 10 people. They’ve done an excellent job making the history come alive with stories about the home’s origins and the Gamble family. I highly recommend the tour but be sure to book tickets in advance unless your schedule is very flexible. I’ve posted a photo of the beautiful front door’s glass.”

“The comic store has what you need. If not they will get it. Stop in, explore, adventure is at hand! Bring the kids, and they'll ask you for everything. Set up a computer account and earn when you spend! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the comic shop environment.”

“Tubular staff! Everyone is always so friendly and if you're not even sure what to look for, they all have great recommendations for new readers as well as for anyone who is a long term comic reader. Great online presence and ready for any questions one may have. Always a pleasure going into the store. Lots of events are held as well which helps bring the community together. You can spend one minute grabbing a comic or as long as you want because there are tons of comics including a great and vast collection of comics that are JUST $1.00! I moved much further away but it's always worth the trip to this store.”

“Reviewed by S. Butler November 21, 2014 A roller coaster ride through sexual perversion and sadistic brutal murder. An absorbing cast of characters, in complex relationships, hiding dirty little secrets which gradually unfold as the story twists and turns. Every time I thought I had everything figured out and knew who the monster was...another twist....I had to think again. Compelling! Read if you dare! GREAT READ AND PAGE TURNER By M. Kutell on October 19, 2014 Format: Paperback I took a chance on this debut novel and it's a page turner. Bitter writes from inside the heads of Detective Savrini and several witnesses- Many of whom are just not interested in helping police. It took me a while to figure who are the real victims and who are not; and why are they victims? The suspense lasts the entire book; and I couldn't put it down. I hope the movie comes out soon Read it! By Michael Albanyon December 20, 2014 Format: Kindle EditionVerified Purchase Wow, just wow! How can we make Amazon Customer Reviews better for you? . ”

“Liebevoll geführter Buchladen, einer der wenigen verbliebenen Spezialisten auf dem Gebiet der Kakteen. Auch wenn Rainbow Gardens Bookstore eigentlich seit einiger Zeit geschlossen ist, bekommt man hier immer noch ein gutes Sortiment von Büchern über Kakteen und andere Sukkulenten aus aller Welt. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die ausgesuchte Sammlung von zum Teil historischen Büchern die einzigartig sein dürfte.”
