“Exercise caution if you decide to get a smog test here. In my case, my vehicle battery was recently changed which faulted the instrument this smog station used to measure the smog reading from the vehicle. However, the attendant was going to charge me for the test anyway since he said the test failed-- but it had nothing to do with the smog or the vehicle, the instrument was faulty and never generated a smog reading. I think he felt guilty about it, so he eventually threw me off the premises angrily without charging me, which worked just fine for me. I went to a second smog test place immediately afterwards and they let me know up front that there was an instrumentation issue onboard my vehicle that necessitated driving 100 miles on the new battery in order to bring a catalytic converter setting online. Without the cat converter setting, the test would fail automatically, or more specifically be "incomplete". The second smog vendor offered to work with me to get the setting back online. I'll just stick with that guy instead-- Kwik Smog at corner of El Camino Real and CA-78. Good luck!”

“I experienced an issue with my car on the way down from North Louisiana and decided to swing by since I was headed to New Orleans. When I go in there not much was communicated other than with hand signals to pull in. As I explained my situation to them, they took initiative to take care of me as I was in a hurry. I made small talk to the mechanic as the other guy had left to go get the part that I needed. When he came back , he was able to replace my ignition coil as well as a couple of other spark plugs that needed replacement and got the job done in less than 30 minutes.”

“It's a great station. The prices are average to the area but cash and card are the same. But the best part of this place is the service. The people here are always friendly. They remember me each time I visit. They are quick to offer a window cleaning, and they are good conversationalists. Also, they have a couple really cool classic cars being slowly restored by the service people there. They are for sale too, just talk to the owner (by the way, the service station has been serving the community for at least 50 years). Oh, and it is right at the intersection of rt 70 and the parkway, which is really convenient.”
