“It took me awhile to find a good, honest mechanic in Truckee that could work on my '74 F-250 without fumbling around. Rob did a great job, he diagnosed a problem that a previous other shop in Truckee only temporarily fixed by grossly compensating the air/fuel mixture. Rob not only fixed the job right, he also charged less than half what the other shop charged me for not really fixing my truck! My truck is running like a top! I am going to take all my vehicles to Rob from now on, my old Ford and my new Subaru, he can work on them all! I whole heartily recommend A Plus Auto. Not only is Rob a skilled Mechanic, but he has good business ethics and practices. He is honest, responsive, and is of the old school mentality of providing great customer service at all times. It is refreshing to still see a shop that values the customer coupled with real world skill and knowledge that only comes with a career of experience. The only downside to A Plus is that it is a small shop, so do not have the expectation that all the time one can drop something off without notice and get it fixed right away. But, to me that isn't really a negative, one will always know that you will have a experienced mechanic work on your car and not a kid right out of a trade school making $18/hr following a prompt from a computer screen.”

“Randys mobile RV repairs did a great Job on my Damon Challenger 32 foot RV today. They showed up at my location and got to work right away. i was very impressed with there knowledge and expertise. they did a job that i would have never expected someone to do on sight. they saved me the expense of having to call a heavy wrecker tow service and still having to pay for the repairs. it was a big job. There diagnostics led to a fuel pump issue. gas tank had to be dropped, they did all this on site, parked at a storage unit in the gravel!! Job well done!! and money well spent!!. Thank you again!!.”

We have taken our vehicle here on many different occasions but the most recent was for rack and pinion replacement. Due to the quality work, honesty & pricing; they can get busy depending on the day but IF there is a couple jobs ahead of you, it's worth the wait.
