“I experienced the unfortunate event of driving over a plastic garbage bag in the road. It was immediately wrapped around the drive shaft and sucked right into the rear differential of my 1500 Ram truck. It started leaking oil so we replaced the fluids and the seal. While doing that we discovered plastic was embedded in the bearings and an overhaul was required. I called around to multiple shops and dealerships. R&P of Oakland was the only place that understood the exact issue (they've had to fix it many times), gave us a quote on the phone that ended up being almost dead on, and provided excellent customer service. I knew my truck would be in great hands and that the work would be done correctly. They treated me and my husband with respect and professionalism the entire time. They even saved the destroyed bearings to show us how much plastic was hiding behind there. I dropped it off on a Monday afternoon, with the estimated pickup of Friday afternoon. They called me Tuesday morning saying they had a cancellation and the truck was already being worked on. We were able to pick it up Tuesday afternoon. Couldn't recommend this team enough. Their quality of work is unmatched. If you need any axle work done this is the place. Thank you SO much!”

“George (the mechanic) is super knowledgeable and very honest. He has always treated me with the utmost respect, and explains things very clearly. In fact, he's a great guy just to talk to. He takes his business very seriously and goes out of his way for the customer. Here's a little side story... My family and I were going to tow our trailer over the mountains for a camping trip. I needed the ball joints in my truck replaced, so I had George do the work. The day before we left for the hills one of the ball joints came out. Turns out this was not his fault, the dealer gave us the wrong parts. Still George felt terrible. He actually came to my house with the correct parts and tools and did all of the work right in my driveway.. FREE of charge! He saved our family vacation and prevented what could have been a disaster. And so, he gained a customer and friend for life. Thanks George!
