“PERMANENTLY CLOSED due to Ed's passing. Ed and his son have been very proficient and professional. I was referred to them by another mechanic in Long Beach. I initially took a 2006 PT Cruiser that needed a new PCM (computer brain) among several other issues, and Ed's Auto Electric were amazing at diagnosing that twice I was sold a defective part from an online store. Finally, they ordered a part for me for almost the same price! They fixed all that was wrong with the car and were extremely fair in the total charges, the car runs great, I'm so glad that I was referred to them. They both posses extensive knowledge about anything related to the mechanics of vehicles of just about any make and is not limited to electrical mechanics. Their pricing is both fair & competitive to other pop-shops and in my experience I've gotten a lot more for my money at Ed's than I have at other comparable places. These guys know what they're doing - I highly recommend Ed's Auto Electric. If they don't do it, they'll recommend someone competent that does. To ensure timely service, I suggest that you call ahead to get a window of time that is best for both of you. There is VERY limited space in the lot so when you call, you may want to ask where to park when you get there. “I had old tinted windows on driver’s side, it started to peel off, and they didn’t tell me, that they charge 5$ per window plus cleaning, so I was charged 15$, although it would took me literally seconds to remove it, and there’s no residue after old tinting to be cleaned… no problem to pay 15$, but I like when people give some explanation before they will do something that has extra change. Possibly they forgot. Overall, satisfied. They work quickly. Would recommend this place. Also they give 3 years warranty”

We were originally going to have the car towed to a different shop on our insurance approved list but the owner was so kind and helpful during the initial time after the Collison we left the car for them to evaluate and work on.
