He and his business partner work with honesty, integrity, competence, and regular communication. The work was performed quite quick, and David took notes and pictures to inform me of any additional items requiring attention, including offering practical solutions, as well as tackling some tedious challenging work with optimism, such as installing and correctly adjusting a unique NOS neutral safety switch to exact factory specs. “3 things I want from a car shop: 1. Friendly service 2. Quick turnaround 3. Simplified explanation of problems I’m glad to have tried this Jiffy Lube location, as they satisfied all 3 of these! The shop is well-staffed, the waiting room is clean, and they even gave me a $25 off coupon when I asked if they had any deals going on. I got an oil change and state inspection. Even with a car ahead of mine, the whole process took 30 minutes total, in and out. I immediately went home to grab my second vehicle and came back for the great service. Like any shop, they will recommend additional services, but it’s a no-pressure conversation where they fully explain why they’re offering it. For example, for my older 2012 Hyundai Elantra they recommended (as does the owner’s manual) an engine flush and fuel cleaner. In contrast, they said my air filters were still in good condition and said there’s no need to replace it. I think of it like a doctor’s visit for your car. I want them to point out where something can be improved or fixed, but ultimately I choose the “prescriptions” that I want to buy. All in all, a great experience, I’ll be coming back!”

“Steve, at Performance Engine and Machine, is awesome. Our 65 Mustang needed some attention. He had the engine pulled by the Speed Shop. They share a building BTW. They got it on a stand and rebuilt, BETTER THAN NEW! Dyno was done, and they had us be there for that. Did the break in on the Dyno. Speed Shop reinstalled engine then it was final tuned. They got our breaks working right and even wash the car. We seriously could not be happier. Thank you Steve and all who were involved.”
