“Local, drop off your car type place. Pricer than other places but they seem to put more attention, and care into your car. Oil Change, they'll check things and top off fluids. Not empty but not ridiculously busy. They seem to take on what they could which I appreciate. Cause my previous place forgot so many things and charged when forgetting to even do my oil change. Lots of things around from food, grocery, coin laundry to distract yourself while waiting. But seems like most ppl just drop off. Lobby is more of just seats cramped in, no heater. There is a bathroom.”

It's just nice to have an internet provider that has a local person answer their phone and not sit on hold for an hour to speak with a call center in another country, it's nice having rapid responses in the rare instance of problems. “Reid and his team are great! I would not take my car anywhere else. My steering wheel was shaking while breaking — which I thought indicated the front rotors were warped. I brought the car into the Penske Buick dealership. After a $260 diagnostic fee, Penske gave me an estimate of over $5,000 saying that I needed new front and rear shocks, new front and rear pads, new front and rear rotors, a wheel alignment, and brake fluid change. My car is well kept and only has 50,000 miles in it. I brought my car to Reid’s for a second opinion and he said that estimate was completely ridiculous. He walked me through every part of that they said needed to be replaced and showed me why they were wrong. As anticipated, the real issue was the front rotors being warped / rusty. Reid attempted to machine off the rust to save some money but was unable to get it off since the rust was so deep. He replaced only my front brake rotors and gave me a brake fluid change. He saved me thousands and got it all done the same day with a smile and some good humor. Could not recommend Reid more.”

It cost me $80 just to have them look at it- & it took them about 10 minutes to diagnose & tell me $1500. Decided to try a ‘hometown garage’. We didn’t tell Chris about the prior diagnosis- just wanted to hear what he found. He provided the same diagnosis, but informed us it could be REPAIRED instead of replaced, at MUCH less the cost. “experience is was great, just my luck 6 years ago my transmission blew out and on my to work i seen the Rivas shop and decided to stop and get a quote on price. immediately i got a good feeling from Bob shop owner. This man was honest and made me feel secure that i would not get ripped off. He fixed my 02 explorer that right now rides at 189k miles. Bob did such a great job, my father (also a mechanic) has taken 2 of his vehicles to get transmissions rebuilt. in recent events, I now live in PA, after many adventures, family road trips and over 140k since last trans rebuild, my old SUV had enough and the trans O/D planetary gave out! i took it to a local "transmission specialist" that truly has over charged me at $3,284 parts and labor! with Rivas i paid almost half the cost! What inspired me to write this review is that i called him From Pennsylvania for advise and he took the time to explain the issue, lecture me and provided helpful advise to help me understand and make wiser decision on how to pursuit the repair of the transmission.”
