“After having a frustrating experience with a Wauwatosa cemetery, we were referred to Prairie Home. Our desire was to do pre-planning and purchase burial plots. The ordeal with the other cemetery lasted for over 6 months, and was never concluded-----WAY TOO LONG. We met with Nancy, who is Prairie Homes's general manager. Our meeting lasted approximately one hour, and by meeting's end we had selected our site. Nancy is professional, knowledgeable and most accommodating. It was clear from the beginning that she was sensitive to our needs and desires. We have been very pleased working with her. The cemetery itself is quite beautiful and very well kept. Also, it's one of the few cemeteries that offer a natural burial option. We couldn't be more pleased with Prairie Home as our final resting place. We highly recommend.”

“Beautiful old cemetery next to the Hebrew Cemetery in Hempstead. It does not appear to be part of it, nor the Houston Cemetery; seems to have no designation. Nevertheless, it is very interesting and worthwhile walking through. There are several unique graves, especially the one with large sea shells covering the grave. Some great photo opportunities.”
