“I've found the congregation friendly and helpful. Many churches, I've felt like I didn't really belong, but I feel like I can be myself and engage openly here. They also have a fantastic nursery which covers a wide range of ages, and of course there's childrens' service. So our kids are in good hands while my wife and I attend service. And, of course, there's a fantastic pipe organ, volunteer opportunities for all interests and walks of life, etc.”

“I love this church. If you're looking for a feel-good "motivational" style church, this is definitely NOT the place for you. But, if you're looking for a Christ-centered, Biblical church that makes disciples who make disciples, this is the place to be.”

“We love the way this Pastor uses scripture to teach scripture. We were all over the bible in very relevant passages binding truth of God's Word together. He reminds me of C.H. Spurgeon.”

“Very beautiful unique catholic church, very holy feeling inside, stone and wood gives the feel of Jesus's day. Very reverent to the saints. I feel blessed to get to clean this church. I want to come to mass to hear the pipe organ. It's little far from home to go to mass, but would be nice to visit occasionally for mass outside of cleaning.”

“This place has redefined my view of Christian churches. I came in as a non-believer and have seen the Glory of God change my life in this place. It is full of dedicated servants of God who wish to wish to please only Him, and always give their best. A progressive and modern church that remains integral to God's word. I couldn't have asked for a better church.”

“Tiny, church family with wide offering of services and activities for youth and adults alike. Sound, expository Bible teaching. Traditional hymns-based worship. Diverse congregation. Not political, not dogmatic. Rooted in love with convictions that faithfully rest between the extremes of “holy terror” and the “prosperity gospel.” Great property and church parsonage. Praying the faithful ministry of this church would grow and bear fruit for years to come!”

“I've been a Catholic all my life and this is my favorite church, period. It is a Catholic church in full communion with Rome but they follow the Eastern Rite. This church serves as a church for two Eastern Catholic communities: the Russian-Greek Catholics (10am mass) and the Melkite-Greek Catholics (845am mass). The masses use the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, where almost everything is sung (except homily of course). The Russian-Greek service is in English, while the Melkite-Greek is mostly English, with some songs in Greek and Arabic. Yes, Catholics may take communion under the same circumstances and with same requirements as for a Roman Catholic church. (You might notice little kids taking communion -- that's because in the Eastern Catholic church, they give all 3 sacraments of initiation at the same time - Baptism, Confirmation/Chrismation, Eucharist). I was raised as a Roman Catholic, not Eastern Catholic, but I find the mass here particularly edifying. I especially like the a capella singing in the Russian-Greek service. To be fair, it is not for everyone. Some of my Catholic friends/family loved it, while some found it too different. Besides the beauty of the mass, I also love Fr. Alexei Smith's homilies. Like I said I've been a Catholic all my life, attending mass regularly, but somehow Fr. Alexei is able to make thought-provoking homilies every week, with perspectives that I've never heard before, full of wisdom. I also love the church itself, with its beautiful hand-painted iconostasis (a screen separating the sanctuary (which represents heaven) and the congregation (which represents earth). Everything is rich with symbolism. If you are a Christian, especially if you are a Catholic, and want to see a church and mass that truly feels sacred, I highly recommend going there at least once.”
