I wish I could find a church of this manner in Maryland. I am so sick of these mega churches in my area. Pastors only knowing a person if he/she give a lot of money to the church. The pastors at Gilfield Baptist Church knows all of its member's and their extended family. Now, a church such as this; I could call home. Not many left that are about the congregation anymore. Most the churches today are about how deep a congregants pockets are to benefit whatever.”

“This is the First Spanish Baptist Church... I grew up in this church and was baptized there. I remember it being built and I even remember my grandfather preaching there. My Titi Mimi play the piano, my mother played the mandolin. My dad was treasurer... we took the evenings offerings to the drop box at the bank on Sunday nights. Some of my fondest memories are of Vacation Bible School... both as a student and a teacher.”
