The sermons aren’t a peptalk or a feel good let’s get up in your feelings…The worship is beautiful and again Christ centered not about the singers acting like wanna be rockstars- no smoke machines, flashing lights…just pure praise and worship to Jesus💜💜💜🙏🏽 No gimmicks, no tricks, props to “entertain” your senses- They are a small congregation but God is working and growing them without gimmicks to get people through the door- Genuinely friendly, family feeling without feeling cultish- the sanctity of communion, baptism and marriage are revered and not treated like buffet options during Sunday service - i’ve spent about four years, visiting a variety of nondenominational churches in the local area, and found each to have its strengths and weaknesses but this was the only one where I felt that Christ was truly put at the forefront and they aren’t a worldly church- They teach and study God’s word- God’s word isn’t used to fill an agenda, themed message or as a prop- I’ve been here over two years.
