We became immediately involved in AWANAS and found many common bonds with the Youth Minister for our teens. I found in Pastor Chuck Woodruff a True 'Man of God' - he has become a friend, a mentor, and role model. His sermons are well researched, prayerfully prepared and presented with sincerity, wisdom and always a bit of humor. I've taught Sunday School Classes, hosted visiting Missionaries, and gone on several exciting church bus trips. At Catawba the Bible is The Word of God, without apology or excuses. “What a fantastic church! I visited this church for Easter and was very impressed. I'm from out of town and dropped by. I was welcomed immediately by Allen. Folks are still coming back from the pandemic so attendance was a little light. They have a nice choir, incredible soloist, and great pianist! Even played Happy Birthday for the choir director before service. Then the reverend got up for the sermon. Wow! If enthusiasm means God within, she's saturated! I've never heard a sermon about the folded napkin in Christ's tomb. Incredible & emotional.”

It's located at Wrightstown road off Harrison which is only 10 minutes from our home. So we decided to try it out. Best decision on a church we've ever made! We've been with this church for about 4 years now. Pastor Kyle, whom also teaches the freshman Bible class at Desert Christian High School, gives an excellent message every Sunday just as any good teacher does in school. Very laid back and relaxed atmosphere with great fellowship with the rest of the church. I highly recommend The Neighborhood Church Tucson to anyone who is looking for a closer relationship with Jesus Christ with an ease of understanding the teaching.
