“I grew up in this parish with my 3 brothers, Jeffrey, Timothy and Sean, my Mother, Santina and Father Jerry and the Nuns. 🙏🙏🙏 My Mom was very active in the church guild and my Dad sang in the choir for many years. How I loved listening to my Father’s beautiful voice leading the congregation in praise to our Lord at mass. 🙏 Sean became a Master of Ceremonies here, I was married here & my children were baptized here. So much history. I have had many life experiences since I attended Catholic School at St Joan’s as a child. I’m not sure what led me back to my original congregation, but I am positive that this is exactly where I am suppose to be at this point in my life. I do attend Mass wherever my path may lead me but feel most comfortable back home. I have the privilege of seeing childhood friends’ parents and every now and then I run into an old friend also! I’ve gotten involved and made wonderful new friends. We call ourselves ‘The Prayer Warriors’. 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️ Tuesday Night Ladies Group. We don’t just pray, we volunteer, have get togethers, support each other and we are all VERY different. That’s the beauty of us. Come join us. Prayer is Powerful! “CCPV is our home church. My family and I have been attending since 2018 when we moved back to CA after living away for almost 10 years. When we first moved back we started visiting Calvary Chapel churches in our area but just couldn't find a church where we felt at home. One night, while searching online I came across CCPV and the following Sunday we were there with our three children. After the service my husband and I got in the car and we both agreed we wanted to return and we did and have been attending ever since. The lead pastor, Pastor Joe Tata is an admirable teacher and faithful servant of God. We are encouraged, convicted, and blessed my his teaching week after week. Our children love the children's ministry and we love seeing them grow in faith, knowledge and understanding of God.”
