“Visited w my son who is a huge Mac Miller fan. The owner, Dave, immediately welcomed us in and showed us all around, told us the history of the store, offered to take our pictures, even played Mac Miller on the speakers for my son while he ate his sandwich. We learned a lot of interesting facts we didn't know and it just felt like we were talking to old friends. There was even a notebook where you could write a message to Mac's mom. I can't say enough good things about our experience there.”

Sometimes brand names are offered and other times local names or items from regions that are not normally available around here. Shopping in their food aisles is not only a bargain it can yield some real delicacies from time to time. It's all about the people. The staff works hard to keep this store well stocked and that is necessary because a lot of neighbors walk to the place and use it quite often. Even though the Dollar General Store is a national brand it is very much a part of the local community.”

“Chelsea needs to be recognized for what she did for me tonight. I was taking an uber from work to this Thortons and then home. My uber driver was making me feel unsafe and all around creeping me the hell out. I had told her that I was uncomfortable and she was really quick with her thinking and not only walked me outside (pretended like she knew me) but she turned on the front cameras for me to make sure that if she didn't hear from me when I got home that she had his information. I really feel like she's the kind of person everyone WISHES for in that situation. She made me feel so much safer just by acting quickly and putting everything they teach you to good use and I can't thank her enough for that. She could have brushed it off but she didnt and im super thankful for that. It will literally always be on my mind. Plus the store was very well stocked and clean and creepy driver aside I got my snacks lol”
