“I think it's great that y'all are back open 24 hours a day. The service is good there with the employees being kind n curtious. It's nice to talk to a friendly face when u need to be out late for any reason. I think it would be nice to have another speedway on the other side of own too. Specially for passers by on the highway n interstate especially. They wouldn't know to travel across town to the station if they aren't familiar with the area. There's no place now after midnight for them to get gas in the instance they run low or out.”

“It is time to stop for some diesel and so we find ourselves at Guthrie Travel Center, or as my husband calls it Velaro's. There is also a Golden Chick eatery inside, but it is temporarily shut down due to remodeling. We weren't here too long to check everything out, but what we did see was a little strange for a gas station. First off, I was running not walking to the restroom cause...you know this girl had to go! The restroom didn't smell bad, but there were wadded up paper towels on the counter, toilet paper on the floor and coming out of some of the stools. There was also a scale and a changing station in there. I couldn't get some of the faucets to work until I tried the very last one then BINGO we have a winner! Still not sure how I feel about those motion sensor things. By the time I came out, my husband had done fueled and was heading into the men's restroom, which he said was clean. I started looking around and taking pictures. Actually the store smelled clean. One of the employees was wiping down his counter, continuously spaying cleaner all over. I also saw the door to the Golden Chick that had been closed off with plastic hanging down from the ceiling, boards on the floor and with saw dust. Along with tons of fully stocked food, snacks and drinks was a corner filled with other products to purchase. Some of the items I've never seen before in a truck stop. The first to catch my eye was the white heads, for just $10.99 you can buy wig holders here! They also have very warm looking parkas.. aren't we about out of that season? There was also hats, sunglasses, purses, shirts, a kite on the wall that looks as though it didn't belong there along with the boxed up dolls at the top of the shelves holding the 2 lt. soda bottles and the wines. We didn't end up buying anything here except the fuel, though I do want to mention that other than the guy so focused on cleaning his counter, at the other counter near the entrance was a young man sitting that greeted us both when we came in and upon exiting. He's kind of hidden where he's seated, but was friendly and smiling.. this has been an interesting stop.”

Very cute little store with all of the basics you need for convenience and camping. Tidy & neat. They have a cute dining area inside and out front (beautiful flowers & metal patio furniture) but we had ordered ours to go. Easy parking areas. We ordered a 16” pizza special and breaded mushrooms. The crust was a bit thicker than we are used to (may see if they have a thin crust next time) but the toppings were generous. The breaded mushrooms were great! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Will definitely stop back!”

“I used to be a manager at Family Dollar, and the struggle to even make a store look presentable let alone clean, front faced, everything pulled forward, and organized is way more of a job than you'd think. This place was immaculate. I have no idea how they do it, but everything was completely spot on. And when I went to check out, the lady was extremely friendly, and smiling. “This is the most modern, bright, well laid out dollar general I have ever been in. I hate going into these stores usually because you are bombarded with stuff and it is stressful going into the store, like pop ups on a web browser. But this one was refreshing and dare I say, enjoyable, to be in. Obviously this is a brand new store, so that's clearly contributing. I only hope they can keep up with it and keep it clean and nice. But for my first visit, it was a pleasure and will definitely be back.”

“This store got built quickly and we tried very hard to have it all together before opening but we can only stock what they send us. We have been open over 6 months now and still going strong. I don't know who would've said that about the alcohol the day of inventory but I am sorry for that. I am the store manager and I try very hard to teach my employees courtesy, kindness and speed.
