In today's case, (1-22-20) the Manager Lorrie, while cleaning a spill, helped me in six different occasions with supreme kindness despite her task on hand. She was well aware of product locations, and substitute suggestions. Her staff is on point too. From Dollar General selling everything, (except vehicles it seems) to it's staff leading in professionalism, courtesies, and compassion for the clients that visit, they set the standard high for any business. “This is a convenience store on hwy 380 half way between Denton and Decatur where the locals in the "Stony" area get gas and gossip. Want to stop for clean restrooms for your dainty little children, please keep going down the road to Buc-ees in Denton! This is where to meet your neighbors in the area. The friendly owner is from Syria decades ago and has raised his family here. He's friends with everybody who is anybody around here. We've spent hours discussing religion, politics, and you name it for nearly 20 years. For a few bucks park your old jalopy you have for sale out front by hwy 380. Allows my brother to park his big truck out back overnight for free, on the other hand we actually buy fuel and I get these great little colorful Mexican candies on the counter . . .”
